( Character's Name ) : Prince Siegfried
( Character's Age ) : About 16. However, he comes from a book that is probably about 100-150 years old, and was unable to develop physically after leaving the story due to losing his heart. He's still physically/mentally about 16, but technically much older.

( Personality ) :
Siegfried was a traditional storybook prince, the hero of The Prince and the Raven. He was known as a wise ruler who loved all his people, as well as demonstrating unwavering bravery and loyalty. He considers it his duty to protect the weak and innocent above all else, including his own safety; this, in fact, is the only thing that remains when he is forced to sacrifice his heart to stop his enemy, the evil Raven. The prince was trapped in an endless battle with him when the author died, and when the creature finally tired of the fighting and tore his way out of the story, the prince followed. To stop the Raven, Siegfried ultimately resolved to use a forbidden power to break his heart into pieces. His emotions were scattered, leaving him without any will of his own or the ability to feel. He wanders aimlessly in reality, only moved to act in defensive of others, no matter how extreme the danger. Eventually, in Goldcrown Town, he is found and taken in by Fakir, who slowly comes to command every aspect of his life, with the prince being little more than a puppet. He also meets Kraehe, the Raven's “daughter,” who has adopted the alias of Rue, and regularly orders him to express love for her. He cannot help complying, though he feels nothing.
However, when his heart is restored at the end of the series, we can see the prince once again showing signs of his former glory. He battles the Raven to the end, and would have elected to shatter his heart once more rather than allow the beast a final victory, but he is able to cut out a close victory with the aid of the heroine, Duck. He fights for what he believes is right without hesitation, and though he is not quick to anger, he is not shy about speaking up for himself or others. In fact, one of the things that stands out about Siegfried the most is just how expressive he is, after having spent most of the series literally incapable of showing a range of emotions. He reveals himself to be very passionate and open, in ways that one might not expect from someone who is typically rather soft-spoken. Once he has set his mind to something, it is difficult at best to make him give up.
Naturally, the unusual emotional turmoil that he experienced has left his mark. His heart has been restored to his proper condition, so it isn't as if feeling again feels strange to him, so to speak, but he does pay more attention than a person normally would to them. As Duck returned his heart in the guise of Princess Tutu (each piece of his heart corresponded to an emotion), he was distinctly affected by each one, suddenly able to experience and name an entirely new sensation. Now that his heart is complete, being able to feel them makes pleasant emotions that much sweeter. As far as negative emotions are considered, he is quite acutely aware of them, and much prefers to fix the cause rather than trying to push them aside even for a brief time. Still, this emotional sensitivity makes him more susceptible to both positive and negative emotions than the average person.
As far as him being soft-spoken is concerned, it isn't that he lacks for things to say. It's just that he is normally politely reserved in his exchanges; he is kind to everyone he meets, and cheerful in a quiet way. Though personally given to formality like this, he is not bothered by others' more casual attitudes, even if he might at first seem rather unapproachable. He is royalty and has a strong sense of pride, so while he is not arrogant, he does carry himself accordingly. Patient and persistent, he will put his best effort into every task, no matter how small, to the point where it can appear almost excessive. He does have a curious flair for the dramatic – he'll move with flourishes or slide into dance steps without thinking – largely due to his storybook origins.
If one thing has changed the prince more than anything else, it was his corruption after being infected by the Raven's blood. When Kraehe, being manipulated as a pawn of the Raven (who had, in fact, fed her that very blood since she was a baby), obtained one of the prince's heart shards, she soaked it in the blood of the Raven. This shard, his love, was returned to the prince, and the blood began to spread throughout the rest of his heart. Though he fought with all his power, he was still incomplete, and it took him over; he became cruel and selfish, thinking only of taking love from others. He even tried to steal their hearts for the Raven, ruthlessly preying on their weaknesses to render them emotionally vulnerable. He seemed to find pleasure in this manipulation, as well. Yet throughout this, the true prince was inside, helplessly aware of his actions and growing weaker. It is only Rue's love that rescues him, as she finally confesses her feelings, but this does not remove the blood entirely. His actions under its influence still cause him great regret, but he hopes to move forward with his princess, and leave this darkness in the past.
Siegfried's time in reality did remove him from the bonds of a story. Now freed of having his actions dictated by another, he anticipates living his own life for what will really be the first time. What we would normally think of as merely cliché hero characteristics take on a different meaning. Siegfried truly is brave, wise, and kind, and these traits are no mere list of adjectives. He genuinely cares about people, and thus has his own reasons for wanting to protect them. Aside from this, he has found one person to love the most, Rue, whose sacrifice and struggle he appreciates – he understands how she suffered in the past, and wants to give her happiness, along with the love she has always wanted. But perhaps a sign of the most radical change in him is that he wants her to love him, as well. He has been a symbol for much of his existence, and so the idea of really being known and loved for himself is important to him. This extends, in a different way, to a desire he will discover for friendship.
Of course, he is no longer just a character, and no person is perfect, temporary curse-induced flaws aside. His pride may be a great source of strength for him, but it is one reason that he still thinks of himself as prince first and man second (to elaborate, he wants to live freely as who he believes himself to be, which is a prince with a prince's duties); he is not used to having to work within the constraints of reality, and when – not if – he finds something that is truly beyond his grasp, he will judge himself harshly for it. He tends to deal with difficulties from a rather innocent, black-and-white perspective, finding what he thinks is an appropriate solution and sticking to it. Even if he changes his mind, the problem is that, more than giving up just being difficult, he has little concept of giving up as even a viable option. Acknowledging something as beyond his capabilities isn't something he considers, perhaps even crossing into arrogance whether he intends it or not, and it can certainly be dangerous.
( Strengths/Weaknesses ) :
Strengths:
Ballet – Siegfried is a high-level danseur, with extensive training in the art of ballet. Even without his heart, relying on pure technique, he was a top student at Goldcrown Academy.
Swordsmanship – He is a talented swordsman, with a very fanciful style that seems to draw heavily on ballet techniques. And as one might expect of a dancer, he is quite flexible, with a keen sense of balance, and what he lacks in raw strength, he makes up for in agility.
Magical abilities – His sword has two unique properties: it can shatter his heart into pieces, scattering his emotions, and when the sword itself breaks, it takes on the form of two swans. As long as his heart is whole, he can call these swans back to him to fix the blade. Additionally, he can call up what are essentially large streams of pink flower petals, and by standing on these and controlling them, he can maneuver himself in the air to a point very near flight.
Weaknesses:
Raven's blood – though it is no longer affects him directly, as mentioned above, it is still inside of him. If he were made emotionally unstable and provoked, for whatever reason, it might be awakened and regain influence over him again. It should be noted that this is quite conditional, however.
Pride – again, as mentioned above, he has a strong sense of pride. Stronger than common sense, in some cases; after all, when has common sense ever won heroic victories?
I feel that these were elaborated on elsewhere in the application to a sufficient degree, as they are parts of his personality. If not, I'd be more than happy to revise it. Aside from this, however, he is physically human, and that means he has fairly typical squishy human limits, so if he simply gets over his head physically – which he might very well do at some point – he will be overpowered as anyone would.
( Other Important Facts ) :
Since it sounds like powers receive some limits, he'll only be able to use his flower petals in a limited capacity: he can ride them high straight up, but not maneuver them for advanced “flight.” He can only control them properly at a few feet off the ground.
